Instead of donning a heavy robotic exoskeleton to carry out superhuman feats, soldiers soon may be wearing something like robotic long johns. The "soft exosuit," as DARPA's flexible gear is called, could give soldiers more strength and stamina, allowing them to walk longer distances with less wear and tear to their joints.
